REFLECTIONS, MANUEL, RETIRED SUGAR CANE FARMER, TRINIDAD, CUBA
Warm greetings. In November this year, I will lead my third travel program in Cuba with Cross Cultural Journeys Foundation, a highly experienced tour operator.
This is a wonderful time to consider a trip to Cuba, a country in the midst of dramatic change. Our trip is limited to a small group of ten to twelve guests.
For a traveler today, the beauty, strain, hope, warmth, transition, and contrasts within Cuba are all deeply felt. I am grateful to return.
Our 2015 trip in Cuba covers ten days, November 6th through November 15th, with departure and return through Miami. We designed this program to allow a breadth of experience. We will visit Santiago, Guantanamo, Baracoa, Havana, Trinidad, and Cienfuegos. This trip is a curated, cultural tour with local guides. We plan to meet with historians, artists, merchants, musicians, dancers, city planners and other professionals. A formal U.S. State Department "People To People" license is provided for each guest. Throughout the itinerary, there are optional walking tours and photography explorations, lectures, and informal opportunities to interact with the Cuban people. If you wish to learn more about the program, please let me know. You can also call Cross Cultural Journeys directly at 1-800-353-2276. Here's a link to the detailed trip description with an itinerary, pricing, and other information. Please note, there is a printable PDF available at the bottom of the detailed description (click the embedded link to download). In case you value an additional prompt, here's a link to my visual recaps from trips to Cuba in 2013 and 2014. Best wishes, Jeff
