2015 LTDC Virtual Showcase 
The LTDC Virtual Showcase is a conference held entirely online. Presenters of the educational sessions are culled from educators from across the University of Wisconsin system representing all 26 campuses and the University of Wisconsin Extension. 

The showcase will be held all day April 9th and 10th. Those wishing to attend can view the entire conference from the Distance Education Classroom in Wyllie D122.

Wishing CTS' Pat Eaton a Happy Retirement
Patricia Eaton has been a phenomenal member of the UW-Parkside community since her start date. Serving over 30 years, she has always shown a real passion for her job and helping others. She will be missed greatly by her coworkers, and everyone else who has had the pleasure of working with her. We hope she enjoys a happy retirement and finally has some time to herself to relax! She's worked very hard for this, and we couldn't think of anymore more deserving of a break. Congratulations, Pat! Thank you for everything you've done for Campus Technology Services, and for UW-Parkside.

Lynda.com
UW-Parkside has recently purchased a subscription to lynda.com. Lynda is a revolutionary website that can change the way we as an institution approach both technology and education. Lynda offers its subscribers access to over 125,000 videos and tutorials. Students and staff alike are able to take advantage of this great website. Simply log in with your Parkside credentials and you'll have access to all that lynda.com has to offer.

Office 365
Most students probably aren't aware that they have access to Microsoft Office 365 for free using their Parkside student accounts. Office 365 includes Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Office Online also includes online versions of the software, so students can do their work from any computer without having to worry about whether or not Office 365 is downloaded. Students can also download the software onto their personal computers from their student email. 
Password Reset
You can manage your password at any time. Head to password.uwp.edu to manage your account. If your password expires and you aren't on campus, you won't be able to reset it unless you have set your security questions. Answer the password security questions in the Self Service area to ensure your account is secure. When you set your security questions, you assure that even if you forget your password or need to change it, you can still retrieve your information.
KnowledgeBase 
KnowledgeBase is a powerful resource for students, faculty, and staff alike. It is a database filled with documents about every aspect of UW-Parkside life. There are tutorials and videos to talk you through anything you might need help with, from D2L help to using the library database.
