GIA LABORATORY
GIA lab is very well respected. The cost to cert a diamond is around $100 for a 1ct diamond. Unfortunately turn around time at GIA is running 4+ weeks! Check their website or call first for turn around times. 1800-421-7250

EGLUSA LABORATORY
EGL has locations all over the world. Most in our industry find EGL USA certs to have stricter grading than EGL foreign labs.
WEIGHT COST $ TO CERT
.01-.69ct $60 per stone
.70-.99ct $65 per stone .99- and up $65 per carat
Mini certs cost $10-$15 less than a regular cert. EGL will also grade jewelry at around $50 per item. A re-check on color or clarity at EGL is $20 versus 50% of the cert cost at AGS or GIA. It is less expensive to cert a diamond at EGL than at AGS or GIA. EGL NY 212 730 7380
AGS is respected as a leader in IDEAL cut diamonds. They were first to give diamonds a 'cut grade'. They also are very fast. Turn around is 4-5 days, unlike GIA's 4-5 weeks. Call AGS here 702 233 6120.
