The Ranch Store
Milestones

The Ranch Store,
Motivating, Rewarding, Teaching

Nestled in the heart of campus, the Ranch Store bustles with activity each day after lunch. Students eagerly race each other to check their account balances, see what's new, and plan for what they'll buy in the future.

If you would like to do something special this Christmas, you might consider a designated gift for the Ranch Store.

Along with the clothing, toys, or recreation equipment, you can help us give our students gifts they wouldn't think to ask for -- the experience of budgeting, working, saving, enjoying the fruit of their labors, and sharing those blessings with others.

This has been an amazingly busy time!

With several new staff members and a bunch of new students, we have had fun introducing Ranch traditions, including Scripture memorization and Reformation Celebration.

It has been a delight for me to see children quote Psalm 1, Psalm 2, Psalm 23, Psalm 100, 1 Corinthians 13, and portions of the Sermon on the Mount in recent weeks.

We are eager for all the children to have their minds reconditioned by God's word.

Milestones
Two long-term staff celebrate 15 years

Before coming to the Ranch, most of our students have seen more than their share of change and turmoil. Those constant changes often make it hard for them to trust others. When you have been disappointed time and again, it is harder and harder to emotionally connect with anyone. Though some changes are necessary, all of us need some sense of constancy in life.

At the Ranch, having long-term staff helps. This fall, two of our staff passed significant milestones. Brian McDonnell and Pat Brown have been serving faithfully now for 15 years, and that is a cause for rejoicing!
