Jim Wood Executive Director, Wears Valley Ranch   Wears Valley Ranch exists to promote the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social and physical development of children in need of a stronger family support system through Christ-centered home settings. Wood Shavings This has been an amazingly busy time! With several new staff members and a bunch of new students, we have had fun introducing Ranch traditions, including Scripture memorization and Reformation Celebration. It has been a delight for me to see children quote Psalm 1, Psalm 2, Psalm 23, Psalm 100, 1 Corinthians 13, and portions of the Sermon on the Mount in recent weeks. We are eager for all the children to have their minds reconditioned by God's word. My work with the Billy Graham organization is reaching an exciting conclusion as we now have over 24,000 churches that are registered to participate. We anticipate over 200,000 homes hosting presentations of the Gospel in November. Please join me in praying for God to change hearts and lives as people hear the Good News. As I write this, I am sitting next to Paul's hospital bed at Emory in Atlanta while Susan is sick at home in Tennessee. We are hoping that he will be able to avoid another surgery. He has already had three this year. We are grateful for the wonderful care from well-trained experts. We are even more grateful for the perfect care of the Divine Physician Who is working all things together for our good.  Thank you for praying.
