Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty--
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
- Psalm 145:3-5

My Hope America

My Hope America with Billy Graham is a nationwide effort to reach people across the United States with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Following a simple biblical model, My Hope combines the impact of video programs with the power of personal relationships. Under the guidance of their local pastors, Christians across America will open their homes to share the Gospel message with friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors using videos featuring Billy Graham, dynamic music, and testimonies.

Stewardship

We thank God for another miraculous outpouring of support in December that enabled us to finish with a net income for 2012. The Ranch accepts no government funds and incurs no debt. Tuition accounts for less than 2% of our annual income. It is God's faithfulness, expressed through His people, that enables us to offer hope to children and families in crisis. Thank you!

"One generation commends your works to another...."

Greetings!

Wears Valley Ranch "belongs to God and is for His glory." As I criss-cross the country promoting My Hope America with Billy Graham, I am continually reminded of what a miracle the Ranch is.

Societal trends do not bode well for the next generation. Children and youth are bombarded with messages that are dishonest and destructive. Many are victims of abuse and neglect. Jesus remains the answer.

All that we do is designed to make the gospel believable. Conversations with current and former students whose lives have been transformed remind us continually that the Ranch is making a difference for eternity.

Please accept my heartfelt gratitude to those who are a part of this miracle.

Residential Program

This year, the Residential Program served 35 children, providing them with role models to emulate and a place to call home. Over 400 volunteers joined in to improve the facilities and impact the lives of students. At the annual Thanksgiving dinner, one of our newest students remarked, "The past two weeks have been the best two weeks of my life."

Saint Andrew's School

Each student at St. Andrew's School receives an education tailored to their needs and provided by caring staff. Although we use technology, at SAS, individualized education does not mean "your own computer.' It means each student is tutored in a group of no more than four, and often individually, by caring adults who seek to inspire and engage them. Students who were failing sometimes advance multiple grade levels using this approach. This year as part of their academic studies, students at SAS memorized a combined 112 chapters of the Bible.

Counseling, Recreation, Discipleship

Each child at the Ranch receives ongoing counseling and discipleship. In 2012, six of those students made first time professions of faith. In August, James Price rejoined the staff as Biblical Counseling Director. As a former Mentor and Houseparent, James brought stability and experience that is bearing fruit in the lives of students.

Each year, up to 12 college students invest a year of their lives mentoring, teaching, and discipling students. Many of those Mentors leave a deep impression on their students. The one-year experience often makes a lasting impact on the Mentors as well.

Camp Arrowwood

In 2012, we completed our 15th summer of Camp Arrowwood. The past 3 years were marked by tremendous growth and changed lives. Arrows have flown, water balloons have been launched, rivers and mountains have been explored, but more importantly, we were thrilled to have 247 campers this past summer, and 12 made decisions to surrender their lives to Jesus. Check us out at www.thebestcamp.com.
