Jim Wood Executive Director, Wears Valley Ranch   Wears Valley Ranch exists to promote the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social and physical development of children in need of a stronger family support system through Christ-centered home settings. Wood Shavings Wears Valley Ranch "belongs to God and is for His glory." As I criss-cross the country promoting My Hope America with Billy Graham, I am continually reminded of what a miracle the Ranch is. Certainly, we are blessed to live in such a beautiful environment. The people who work at the Ranch form an extraordinary team as they show the love of Jesus to the children in our care. Our supporters who display such generosity and faithfulness reflect the character of God through their giving. The hundreds of individuals who have told us that they pray for us daily are vital to this ministry's success. Susan and I are so grateful to see the strong and steady leadership of Brian McDonnell and our son Andrew effectively implementing our guiding principles. We are blessed! Societal trends do not bode well for the next generation. Children and youth are bombarded with messages that are dishonest and destructive. Many are victims of abuse and neglect. Jesus remains the answer. All that we do is designed to make the gospel believable. Conversations with current and former students whose lives have been transformed remind us continually that the Ranch is making a difference for eternity.
