to better ensure receipt of IRHS communications
NPO has reason to believe that a large portion of our newsletter subscribers have not received the communication we sent last Wednesday 2/20. After consulting with ConstantContact (the service we use to create and send our newsletter), we learned that the delivery problem is likely due to our email being blocked by internet providers such as Comcast. In that case, the email never made it to your email inbox (or was directly deposited into your SPAM folder). ConstantContact informed us that this could be because the internet provider recognized the senders' (ConstantContact) IP address as a mass email, and thus denied it access. Why would the last newsletter be blocked if previous ones were not blocked? Other factors (such as amount of newsletter content, number of pictures, type of content, etc) could also be contributing factors to an internet provider's decision to block an email. Hopefully keeping this memo short, with limited images will ensure it gets through to you!) While the delivery problems with last week's email might have been a fluke occurrence, we hope you'll add npoirhs@gmail.com to your safe senders list to safeguard against future blocks of communication. Here are easy directions to amend your safe senders list.
