Arbella is committed to providing you with the best rates to make it easier than ever to do business with us. We've made some changes and enhancements for MA Personal Lines Auto policies. Please review the following:
Rate Change
There will be a modest 2.4% rate increase for policies effective July 1, 2015 and later. These changes will be available on Arbella Connect™ on May 16.
Renewal Questionnaire & Ride-Sharing Services
Beginning with July policies, customers will receive a renewal questionnaire in their renewal packet. The questionnaire has been updated to include a question on ride-sharing and car-sharing.
With the exposure presented by these services, any returned questionnaire indicating ride- or car- sharing should be forwarded to your underwriter for review. Your underwriter may call you to discuss. A copy of the questionnaire is located on Arbella Connect™ Reference Center.
Many of your customers may not know the risks associated with ride-sharing or car-sharing services. To assist, we've attached the following information to make it easy for you to share with your customers and help them understand the potential insurance implications of these services. The information on the first two links was provided by the MAIA.
New on WinRater
For your convenience, WinRater quotes now have a new field - Vehicle Mileage - that displays the vehicle mileage actually used in the quote. Refer to the Vehicle Specifics section for this information. Important Arbella mileage messages for each vehicle will continue to display in the carrier message panel.
Coming Soon
Accident Forgiveness eligibility will be expanded to include SDIP 98 drivers and experienced drivers with SDIP 00. Stay tuned for more information.
