Changes to the ELA Common Core State Standards Document
Academic Benchmarks will provide an update to the NGA Center/CCSSO Common Core ELA document available for you to request on 6/17/13. Changes to the document include removal and adjustments to data.
The following data is removed: - College and Career Readiness Anchor Standards layered within the grade-level documents.
- The Strand Introduction paragraphs.
The following data is adjusted:- The Literacy in History/Social Studies, Science, and Technical Subjects Writing Standards are consolidated.

Next Generation Science Standards Updates
Kansas becomes the second state to adopt the Next Generation Science Standards.
Academic Benchmarks is still in the process of collecting the appendices to the NGSS.
