Dear Friends:
Thank you so much for being a vital part of our mission to increase access to clean water and sanitation facilities in Liberia. As you know, the world water crisis is one of the largest public health issues of our time, causing 2 million deaths every year. In Liberia, millions lack access to clean water and sanitation facilities.
At FACE Africa, we are committed to ending the clean water crisis in Liberia by implementing sustainable clean water, sanitation and hygiene projects through partnerships with local development agencies, donors, and the communities we work in. Thanks to you and our friends at the Global Neighborhood Fund, this year the residents of Williamtown now have access to clean water and sanitation facilities and have benefited from our comprehensive health and hygiene workshops. With your continued support, we will fund and support even more projects to make access to safe drinking water and improved sanitation a reality for thousands more.
In 2013, we plan to embark on an ambitious new initiative to provide clean water coverage to the entire county of River Cess, one of the poorest and least developed counties in Liberia. Our "County by County" commitment plans to construct 250 clean water points over a 3-5 year period and provide complete water coverage to over 60,000 residents.

Read More  UPDATE ON OUR $30,000 A YEAR TRUST FROM ALL FOR AFRICAIn June 2009, FACE Africa won a Trust from All for Africa for $30,000 a year for 30 years thanks to our friends and supporters who voted for us! FACE Africa's Trust was awarded and planted in 2010 and All for Africa estimates that they will begin to see revenues from that Trust in the first quarter of 2014. This is much needed funding that will cover FACE Africa's operations and administrative costs and allow us to focus on service delivery.
