Holy Golf Balls, Batman!
Have you been out to Oakland Acres Golf Course's new pub/clubhouse?It is FANTASTIC! It is a public course, but don't forget to go there even if you're not wanting to golf but just looking for a fun night out. HD TVs everywhere, incredible wood craftsmanship, unbelievably beautiful bar. They went all out.  You can sit outside right on the golf course! They have two huge golf simulators. I mean, this is one class act. I'm looking forward to watching NFL football there.

We talked a couple weeks ago about amazing investments to exteriors, so this week I want to give kudos to those businesses who have invested in their interiors. In addition to Oakland Acres Golf, other amazing interiors include Flowers by Dzyne/Memories Maid, The Fix, T.L. Baker & Co., Malcom Lumber, McNally's, Anna Kayte's clothing boutique (inside Awards Unlimited), Sports Page, Gamers, Prairie Canary, Victor Appliance & Mattress, and Dandelions and Vines, our new 5,000 square foot antique and gift shop on Main Street. All have undergone extreme renovations or product additions in just the last two years. Who am I forgetting? Let me know and I'll make sure to mention them in a future email.

I mentioned exteriors last time and left a few out I want to add to the list. I need to add Jensen's Optometrists, Stepping Stones Christian Book Store, and Flowers By Dzyne.

This kind of investment keeps cities like ours viable and alive. Thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who are choosing to invest in this place.
~Angela Harrington
