A Message from our PTA President
I heard a quote today that I loved:
"GOOD is the enemy of BEST." Paschal High School is, in my opinion, the best choice of high schools in Fort Worth. To be the best, we need to be against being good. To be the best, we need to continue to offer our staff and students the best resources available. Today we are just $6,000 short of fully funding our PTA budget for this year and we really don't want to cut back to good. I have asked a lot over the past six weeks, but I believe in this effort enough to ask again. I believe in it because I have heard the teachers' stories, and I have seen the plans Dr. Mossige has for Paschal's future. Every donation matters - please give what you can today. If you've given, Im asking you to go one step further. Have you forwarded the link to your parents and asked them to give? Your in-laws? Your Great Aunt Juanita? Have you forwarded one of the videos to neighbors who have younger children in the pyramid? Or shared them with your FaceBook friends? See five examples of your money at work here: We are Paschal and we want the best for our students. I KNOW WE CAN PULL TOGETHER AND MEET THIS GOAL! Sarah Tempel

Senior Portrait Pictures and Senior Ads
Parents of Seniors, your student MUST go to Glamourcraft at 7375 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth, TX 76133 by November 1st in order to have their picture appear on the portrait page(s) of the yearbook. You do not have to purchase a picture package, but due to contractual obligations your student does need to get their picture taken there to show up on the portrait page; I believe there is a $5 "sitting" fee.
I f you choose to purchase and build your Senior ad at jostensyearbooks.com, you need to do so by October 30th.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
 Chapter meeting: Friday, October 30 Todd Theater at 8:10 or room 203 at 1:05 or room 204 at 3:40 Attending the meeting counts as 1 chapter activity.
Change in selection process: For the current freshmen, class of 2019, NHS selection will occur at the end of 10th grade, using the weighted GPA at the end of the fall semester of 10th grade as the initial criterion for selection. The weighted GPA needs to be 3.75 or above; the conduct requirements are no more than 1 N and no U's during high school and no OCI, suspension, honor code violations, or third party hearing or alternative placement during the year of selection.

Congratulations to the Mighty Panther Marching Band for earning unanimous "1st Division - Superior" ratings at the UIL Region 7 Marching Contest on Tuesday at FWISD Clark Stadium. The students have worked very hard this year and performed their very best when it counted. Congratulations, Paschal Band students and staff!!!
