Information: For this recipe you can purchase precooked, sliced chicken, making this dish very simple to prepare as well as very delicious. This dish can be prepared using any type of rice that you prefer. Also if you do not wish to use broccoli and cheese soup, you replace it with either a cream of broccoli soup or even a cream of mushroom soup. Chopped fresh garlic can be purchased prepackaged in a jar in the produce section of most grocery stores or supermarkets.
Preparation:
6 Ounce bag of precooked chicken
1 Cup of rice precooked
1 and 1/2 Cups of fresh broccoli
1 Can of broccoli cheese soup (or other soup of your choice)
1/2 Cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 Teaspoon of chopped fresh garlic (can be purchased already minced in a jar)
9 inches by 9 inches Baking Dish
Directions on how to cook:
350 Degrees F for 15 minutes
Turn oven on to 350 degrees F
- Add all ingredients into baking dish and using a wooden baking spoon mix the ingredients together.
- Place baking dish into oven and let cook for 15 minutes. When done the cheese should begin to bubble and casserole should be golden on top.
- Using oven mitt, remove from the oven and serve!
