Save the Date! MY Fest 2014 is Sunday, March 23!
MY LIFE is excited to announce that their seventh annual MY Fest will take place Sunday, March 23, from 12 to 5 p.m., at Tempe Beach Park. MY Fest is a FREE music, art, entertainment and youth involvement festival hosted by MY LIFE (Magellan Youth Leaders Inspiring Future Empowerment) to raise awareness about mental health, substance abuse, foster care and other issues facing youth and young adults. MY Fest will feature live music, a break dancing stage and crew competition, entertainers, artists, food, youth groups, and a variety of youth and family-based organizations offering information, resources and services.
MY Fest 2013 drew a crowd of nearly 9,000 people and featured 80 youth and family serving community and social service organizations. To get an idea of what MY Fest is all about, watch this NBC 12News story about last year's event MY Fest AZ on NBC News.

This is the fourth issue of our quarterly e-news and continues our work to provide news, information and resources to help improve overall health through peer support, whole health and working toward wellness. Training on New Arizona Administrative Code Licensing
ADHS will host a training for RBHA and TRBHA staff Friday, Jan. 31, from 1 to 3:30 p.m., on the new Arizona Administrative Code licensing rules that went into effect Oct. 1, 2013. The purpose of the rules is to reduce monetary or regulatory costs on persons or individuals, streamline the regulation process, and facilitate licensure of integrated health programs that provide both behavioral and physical health services. The training will take place at 150 North 18th Ave., Phoenix, in Conference Room 215 A/B. To register for this training please e-mail DBHS Workforce Development. There is no cost to attend.
