In one month another seminary class will graduate at Myanmar Institute of  Theology. 75 men and women will return to their villages or embark upon mission experiences as they transition from students to full time Christian workers.

Our part is to help prepare MIT's seminarians for ministry and service beyond  the campus. In early January, Jill and I returned from a wonderful few weeks with  friends and family in the States over Christmas. We are now immersed in finishing the second half of second semester, teaching four classes, meeting with faculty and  students, preaching in chapel, and reaching out to various individuals and groups in the broader Yangon community.

This past month, Faith, Hope, and Love also conducted its first Inspire Trip in Myanmar. We brought guests from the United States---- Board members, supporters, and family members---- to experience firsthand what God is doing through our ministries. The participants went home inspired and highly energized, while Jill and I stayed back to continue our work here, feeling grateful for so much concern and support that we experienced through their time with us.

Please pray with us for continued fruitfulness in our ministries here in Myanmar,  and then in Cambodia and France as 2014 enfolds. We have more opportunities than we can possibly accept, so we need God's wisdom and guidance in setting priorities and conducting our ministries.

Thank you for your continued love, interest, and support. We depend on each of you, and appreciate your ongoing engagement more than ever.

Serving Christ with you,

Tim Geoffrion

2014 Inspire Trip Highlights

A Wonderful Experience

Pamela Strommen quite at home in Myanmar!

Our first ever Inspire Trip exceeded our expectations. In three days and four nights, participants experienced many different dimensions to life in Myanmar and the work of Faith, Hope and Love Global Ministries. The photos below tell the story of our visits to MIT campus, the Shwedagon Pagoda, Helping Hands (furniture refurbishing shop that employs at-risk youth and others), and numerous other places of interest in Yangon.
