The John J. Reilly Center at the University of Notre Dame has an annual list of Emerging Ethical Dilemmas and Policy Issues in Science and Technology. Each month in 2014, they will feature one of the issues on their website to provide more information and generate discussion. There are suggested readings and of course, change is anticipated. You may vote for your top emerging ethical dilemma or policy issue on their website. The issues truly are intriguing - data chip implants, property rights in space, predictive policing, sexbots. An explosion in slow motion: How 2013 blew apart our notions of privacy is a thoughtful look back at 2013.
