CT Birth to Three System FY14 Annual Data Report
"Learning From Each Other" is the FY14 annual data report recently submitted to the Governor and General Assembly about activities of the CT Birth to Three System, which is now available online. Explore data, read about the joys and challenges shared by families and providers, and learn how Birth to Three supports and collaboration with community partners made a positive difference for almost 10,000 families last year.

AAP Expands National Affiliate Membership Category
Nurse Practitioners
As of November, 2014 certified, licensed, nurse practitioners working on a pediatric care team are now able to join the Academy as National Affiliate members. This change was made to our bylaws and is another step towards engaging the entire pediatric team in the AAP membership community.
Eligible nurse practitioners will be non-voting non-FAAP members of the Academy and will be awarded national member benefits and services for $150 annually. The attached document outlines eligibility criteria and talking points to encourage membership applications.

PANDAS/PANS Healthcare Provider Survey- American Academy of Pediatrics
Graduate students at the University of Connecticut (UConn) are conducting a study to assist the Connecticut PANDAS/PANS Advisory Council. They are inviting you to participate in an online survey as a part of the study. The purpose of this study is to collect information that will provide the Connecticut PANDAS/PANS Advisory Council with information about current level of awareness regarding Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infections/Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndromes (PANDAS/PANS) in the medical community.
Your perspective is valuable both for the Connecticut PANDAS/PANS Advisory Council as well as for the learning experience for the graduate students.
