Neonatologist Wanted  (Per Diem)


Stamford, CT

Stamford Hospital is seeking an experienced per diem (occasional) Neonatologist. This individual will provide direct patient care to newborn infants, patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and consults as needed for neonates. The incumbent will also provide teaching and medical consultation as necessary for Departments of Pediatrics, Surgery and Family Medicine.

The neonatologist will support medical staff utilization management and clinical effectiveness efforts, enhance the quality and safety of in-patient care, utilize evidence-based care of patients admitted to the Neonatology service (either referred by private MD or admitted from L&D/Well Baby). The per diem neonatologist will also provide night call as needed. While on night call the per diem neonatologist must be readily available and no more than 20 minutes from the hospital.


Required Experience:


  • MD/DO License required.
  • Board eligible or board certified required in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Must have experience with Delivery Room management, and sick and well newborn care
  • Must possess excellent communication and computer skills.

Pediatrician Wanted for Five - Ten Days (June 25 - July 5)


KenMont and KenWood Camps in Kent, CT

Come join our Health Center staff and work with an experienced team of 8 camp nurses to oversee the health of our 450 campers (ages 8-15) and 270 staff.

Responsibilities include being "on site"  24/7 for the five-ten day period.  Do morning rounds and remain on call throughout the day and evening.

We have an excellent relationship with our local medical providers and Hospital in New Milford, CT.  

Comfortable housing and meals are all included, as well as a modest stipend. You can enjoy use of our camp facilities (swimming, tennis, sailing, and more) and also take advantage of camp for your children (if applicable).

Our camp is covered by medical malpractice insurance and a comprehensive umbrella policy.
