Alumni Garden
Greetings!

Alumni reunions have come and gone, Thanksgiving Day has passed and our Alumni Garden is complete. As the month comes to a close, we have counted our blessings and would like to thank you all for joining us in our Reunion Celebration Weekend and for doing your part in making all of the improvements on Servite's campus possible. As we think about the future here at Servite, we are honored to have such amazing alumni inspire our young men and to encourage them to become the leaders we know they are capable of being.

Because of You, We are Servite.

Credo!
Thank You Alumni

Servite appreciates its alumni. They are doing great things in their communities and for Servite.

Alumni are making a tremendous difference in facility improvements at Servite and its energy efficiency. Three examples include Sean Brennan '82 and Brian Brennan '96, the Class of 1971 and Scott Sarem '87.

The Brennan brothers and their construction company, PR Construction, recently led the construction of the Holy Founders Project that included new gated entrance, quad, Grotto and Alumni Garden.

"Thanks to their personal sacrifices, they saved Servite more than $350,000 in construction costs on the project," said Jim Carter, Servite CFO.

As you enter the main academic wing, the hallways have a new look thanks to the Class of1971. A New formation wall display and testimonials of recent graduates are part of an inspirational tribute to the Servite formation program and the academic pursuits of recent graduates. Members of the Class of 1971

pledged $71,000 for the project as part of their 40-year Reunion celebration.

Scott Sarem '87 provided his energy conservation expertise to Servite that will result in a projected  energy savings of more than $11,000 per year. Scott is CEO of Everyday Energy that provides solar photovoltaics and other renewable energy solutions for apartment buildings and commercial properties. Scott helped secure a $150,000 grant from the City of Anaheim to help fund installation of solar panels were installed on the roof of the Servite Theatre.

As a result, Servite is reducing its carbon footprint while implementing a no-cost solar energy system and saving a significant amount of energy expense annually. In addition, Scott's company is providing educational software and motoring that allows students to analyze solar energy production and energy savings of Servite's new system.  "I am excited to give back to an institution that played such a critical role in my life," said Scott.

Thank you Alumni for your generous gifts that enable Servite to better serve the next generation of faith-filled leaders!

We were able to capture some great moments and invite you to browse through them all. Also, we would love to see your reunion weekend pictures, so feel free to post them HERE

Enjoy!
