Help Walton PTSA go paperless: We are very excited to announce that we are going "paperless" for the 2015-2016 school year.  Please visit our new website at www.waltonptsa.org where you can: enter your family's information for the directory; order all your presale items including PTSA membership, the Student Directory, and the Walton Calendar; and sign up to volunteer for all the events the PTSA will be hosting in 2015-2016. Once you have completed your order, you can easily check out with PayPal and pay for your items on your debit card or credit card. The PTSA will have everything ready for you to pick up at student orientation in July. Thank you for supporting us and our efforts to go GREEN!

Town Hall Meeting with Scott Sweeney: Mr. Sweeney and other school officials will hold a town hall meeting in the Walton theater on May 12th at 6:30 pm to address questions about the Walton Rebuild process.  Mr. Sweeney will discuss parking, traffic flow, safety, construction equipment, and noise issues with the community.  This is a wonderful opportunity to have all of your questions addressed.

Message from the Cllinic: If your child has Daily Rx Medication, Rx "as needed" Medication, OR Emergency Medication (EpiPen, Inhaler, Insulin/Glucagon, Diastat) in the clinic, you will be receiving an email from me between May 4-15 re: the amount of medication remaining in the clinic. Please note that prescription medications must be picked up from the clinic BY TUESDAY MAY 19th at 12:00 pm, and signed for by a parent or their designee. Unless the medication is for emergencies (as stated above), students may not transport Rx medications from the clinic. All OTC medication will be sent home with the student beginning the week of May 11. I will email you the day I have given your child the medicine. If your child has a health concern (Food Allergies, Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy) that requires a Medical Health Care Plan signed by an MD, you will be receiving an email from me with those medical forms attached for the 2015-2016 school year. If your child has a health concern and you do not receive an email from me between May 4-15, please contact me at 770-578-3225 x242 or at sandra.evans@cobbk12.org to make me aware of your child's health needs. Please look for updates concerning Clinic hours and information in July on the Walton PTSA Facebook page. Thanks! Nurse Sandy
