PTSA General Meeting:   Please plan to join the WHS PTSA at our General Meeting between the OPEN HOUSE Sessions at 5:30pm on Jan. 28th in the Theater!

Learning Assessments:  Students enrolled in Health Education-Contemporary Issues in Health; World History; World Literature; Advanced Algebra; Physics; or Broadcast IB will be participating in the Student Learning Objective (SLO) assessments on Thursday, January 29^th and Advanced Band (4^th and 5^th period) on Tuesday, Jan. 27th.  These assessments will gauge the learning growth of our students between this time and the end of the year.  No special preparation is needed for these evaluations.  Please help ensure your student is in attendance for these assessments.
 

The International Spanish Academy at Walton will host an 8^th grade student/parent information night on Thursday, February 5^th at 6:30 in the Walton theater.  Current students will share their experiences and applications will be available.

ECCC PTA Education Forum: Jan. 28th, 10:00-11:30 am, Mt. Bethel ES. Learn about current education issues (IE2, potential QBE revisions, etc.) and the impact of a high quality education on our students and community from these speakers: Int. Superintendent Chris Ragsdale, CCSD; Ms. Claire Suggs, Sr. Education Policy Analyst with GBPI, and Dr. Dana Rickman, Director, Policy & Research, GPEE.

The WHS Chorus Silent Auction and Fashion Show will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31st from 8-10pm in the Theater.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

35th Annual Walton Raider Chase 5K will be held at Raider Valley on Feb. 21.  Proceeds will support the WHS Cross Country and Track & Field programs.  For information and registration: Raider Chase
