Cobb County will run school buses from Walton at 11:30  am and again at 3:30 pm on Thursday, Dec. 18 and Friday, Dec. 19.  WHS students can take their regular bus home at 11:30.  It  is anticipated that most students will take advantage of the 11:30 am delivery. Consequently, the 3:30pm bus routes will probably be consolidated. 

Applerouth Tutoring Services is offering SAT and ACT prep classes at Walton HS. The classes include 3 Mock exams, 20 hours of instruction and all student materials. To view the complete schedules and to register, go to applerouth.com/signup and enter the event code (see codes below)  Tuition: $400

East Cobb CHADD:  The Dec. 18th meeting will be held at Sprayberry HS from 6:30-8:00pm. Christy Land will speak on the topic, "Is your child bullying or being bullied? Fall Semester Final Exam Schedule:

 Dec. 16 (zero hr.), Dec. 17 (periods 3,4,5), Dec. 18 (Periods 1,2), Dec 19 (periods 6,7)

Please note that exams cannot be given early.  

Students who do not complete finals will have an incomplete and have 10 school days to complete their course work. 

The Walton HS Tour Choir:  Performs in Boston Jan. 2 -4.  Tell friends and relatives in the area that we will perform at the JFK Presidential Library and Boston University! 

The Walton HS Marching Band:   will march in the 2015 Rose Parade in Pasadena, Calif., on New Year's Day. It is one of only 20 bands selected to perform in the parade, and will be the sole Georgia ensemble!  Make sure to watch the Parade on New Year's and see our WHS Band perform!

Walton High School's Class of 2015 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 22nd at 2:30 pm at Kennesaw State University.  All detailed information including how to obtain tickets will be available mid-March.

The 2015 Senior Evening of Inspiration is scheduled for May 18th and we need your help to make it a special evening for YOU and YOUR classmates.  The first meeting to begin planning your event is Wednesday, January 14th at 12:45 pm.  We will meet in Conference Room B to discuss the evening while enjoying some pizza.  Please join us and bring your friends along to help.
