TOWN HALL MEETING/New Walton High School: The construction on the new Walton High School has been delayed due to projected dramatic increases in Walton's student population over the next 10 years. The Cobb County School District and Cobb County School Board have been working to verify these projected increases and to make any necessary changes in the design of the new WHS facility. There will be a community Town Hall meeting held by Int. District Superintendent Chris Ragsdale and Post 6 School Board Member Scott Sweeney on Monday, October 20th at 7:00 pm in the Walton Theater. Superintendent Ragsdale and Mr. Sweeney will provide a progress report and address any questions from the parents in our Walton Cluster. Make plans to attend this important meeting and bring a neighbor with you. We welcome a show of support from the entire Walton Cluster for this critical project.
