Macomb Foundation to Induct
Ray Weingartz into Hall of Fame

Ray Weingartz was seven when he began working for his father  at Weingartz Feed Store. Thirty years later he purchased the business from his mother and took over as President.  As the needs of the community changed, Ray changed the focus of the business to concentrate exclusively on outdoor power equipment.  Weingartz, now run by his children, has five retail locations and a distribution company in Richmond. Ray is a lifelong resident of Macomb County and has been very active in the community.  He was a charter member of the Utica Downtown Development Authority and has been active in the Utica/Shelby Kiwanis.
