Synergy Success E-Zine, May 2014
"Don't walk too far away from the child within you, and never abandon the sense of wonder that magnifies the smallest of things into mountains of joy--
for one day, when you lose sight of happiness, that child within can guide you back to the things that once nourished your heart."
~Dodinsky

Greetings!
Greetings to YOU, Happy Mother's Day, and a Warm Welcome to our new Subscribers!
In the fast lane of everyday responsibilities, does it seem like there's never enough time left for you to stop DOING and just BE for a little while?
If you answered Yes, or you struggle with making Self-Care a top priority without guilt or anxiety, here's a gentle reminder that serving in the highest way does not exclude you...it includes you! Trust me... being exhausted, overwhelmed, or depleted for too long,(whether emotionally, physically, mentally, or spiritually) is the fast-track to burn out.
Just imagine if you had a few uninterrupted moments to spend any way you wished; just for the sole purpose of filling yourself back up...what would you do with them?
Perhaps a power nap in a hammock comes to mind, a long walk in the woods, or a leisurely cup of coffee with a friend? Maybe treating yourself to a manicure, pedicure, hot stone massage, or some new spring clothes is in order? Or would doing some yoga, reading, journaling, or meditation renew you most right now?
I challenge you to pinpoint what your greatest assets are to creating the success you desire, then make it a high priority to protect and nurture them.
Having a positive/focused mind, energetic body, and a loving spirit are what I consider to be my greatest assets (ironically they've also been my greatest challenge!) I wholeheartedly believe that making small, daily deposits into a restorative lifestyle through my meaningful morning practice keeps me moving in the direction of working smart, playing hard, and resting well.
My wish for you is to wake up every morning and do something that makes a positive difference, makes you proud, makes you smile, and showers those you love with abundance.
Balanced success starts over every day, and requires one small step after another. What would you say your greatest assets are, and what's one small step you can take to nurture them today?
Reach out and share, ok? I can't wait to hear from you.
