We want to share the story of Miami JABBER Jennie Mooney Piedra, who recently wrote in to tell us how she "struck gold."  Well versed in the ways of JAB, she had used the newsletter to buy and sell, and to seek out recommendations on everything from schools to pet groomers. So when the time came to repave the driveway, walkways and back patio, she turned to the JAB Treasure Chest to find the perfect vendor. "I am so glad I did," she writes. "I thank JustAskBoo for Treasure Chest wordsconnecting us." And what exactly did she find? JABBERS' personal recommendations and referrals for contractors, handymen, brick masons and paving specialists ~ collected, edited and organized by Team JAB since 2010. No more sifting through negative reviews or misleading self-referrals offered by other online services. Just fast and easy access to the information you are looking for.

Today, JustAskBoo Ft. Lauderdale is proud to launch its Treasure Chest, giving you access to the best of everything ~ interior designers, air conditioner repair, hair stylists, guitar instructors, therapists, and party venues ~ in Broward and beyond.  Just click HERE to get started.

Happy treasure hunting and Happy JABBING!

After the Miami city life, I am yearning to get back to the country! This single, professional, non-smoker would love to rent a mother-in-law or small house on your property. A horsewoman, I would be willing to care for your pets and horses while you are away. I look forward to hearing from you!

JABBERS Helping JABBERS
From Team JAB
JABBER Julie Simon wrote in to share the marvelous story of her Marine son, his childhood bunk bed, and two happy families:  A $15 classified ad to sell the bed on JustAskBoo connected Julie and her family to a single mother struggling to furnish her Habitat for Humanity home. The bed was donated, and, upon his return from deployment in Afghanistan, Julie's son offered his pick-up truck for the trek to North Miami, "We dismantled the beds, loaded everything into the truck and together, we all delivered the beds to a very happy family." Read the full story HERE.

Teach Your Child to Swim in Five Days, Guaranteed Results!
From Jackie Doyle:  REPLY
As a parent, I know it's scary to think about your child around a pool when they can't swim. But as a swim instructor with over 30 years experience, I know just what it takes to teach them. I guarantee that your little one will learn to swim in five lessons, or you can return for free. In the heated pool at Westminster Academy, I offer group lessons in a five-to-one student- to-teacher ratio, and private lessons at our pool or yours. I always teach my own lessons, at rates much lower than you'll be able to find elsewhere. To learn more, visit my website HERE.*

JAB's Favorite Recipes
From Team JAB
The seders are over but there's more to matzo than the search! JABBER Jennifer Cohen shares this amazing recipe for Chocolate Caramel Matzo Crunch (affectionately known as Matzo Crack), the perfect treat this weekend whether you are observing the final days of Passover or preparing your Easter brunch ... or both!

Ingredients:
4 to 5 pieces of Matzo
1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
1 cup chopped bittersweet chocolate, or semi- sweet chocolate chips
Toppings, as desired

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and/or parchment paper. Place one layer of matzo on the baking sheet, breaking it if necessary to fill the pan completely. Set aside.

In a large sauce pan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly. Once the mixture reaches a boil, continue to cook for an additional three minutes, still stirring, until thickened and just starting to pull away from the sides of the pan. Remove from heat and pour over the matzo, spreading an even layer with a spatula.

Place the pan in the oven and immediately turn the heat down to 350 degrees. Bake for 15 minutes or until the toffee bubbles up and turns a rich golden brown color. If it looks like it is starting to burn, turn the heat down to 325 degrees. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate over the pan. Let sit for five minutes to melt, then spread evenly with a spatula. Cool completely, then break into smaller pieces and enjoy! Makes approximately 30 pieces.

JABBERS: Tomorrow's Women Today
From Team JAB

As our celebration of Women's History Month comes to a close, Team JAB looks beyond the pioneers to recognize today's women ~ fighting the good fight daily to make the world a better place for our friends, sisters and daughters, and shattering glass ceilings as political activists, teachers, entrepreneurs, Supreme Court justices, university presidents, Fortune 500 CEOs, moms-extraordinaire ... and JABBERS! From one group of hard-working women to another,  thank you!

A Sp-egg-tacular Weekend!

Who's Sorry Now?
From Team JAB
In last week's issue, we erroneously reported that "Ft. Lauderdale's Favorite Spring Breaker" Connie Francis resides in Palm Beach County. Ms. Francis has informed us that she is, in fact, a proud resident Broward County. We are only too happy to issue this correction!
