Local Reno Liaison Ready to Help!

Want someone to answer your questions about the area?  Where's the best skiing?   Best restaurants?

Just ask Joe Drakulich!

Joe comes from a long time Reno family and knows darn near everything about the area and what's going on there.

He'll be glad to answer your questions if you want to give him a ring at (775) 229-8943 or (775) 240-8643.

Awesome Auction!
The live and silent auction to be held Friday evening at the convention is sure to be top notch, and you don't want to miss it!  It starts at 6:30pm and will be in Expo B & C of the Silver Legacy.

Did you want to donate something?  No problem!  It's not too late!  Bring your donation to Expo B & C in the Silver Legacy Wednesday through Friday between 12pm and 6pm and our auction coordinator Ada Gates-Patton will be happy to assist you!  Otherwise, you can always bring your donated item to the AFA registration office and the office staff will be happy to assist you.  They will be in the Bronze Salon of the Silver Legacy.

AFA Sponsors World Championship Blacksmiths

We are proud to announce we will be sponsoring the WCB this year at the Anvil Stand sponsorship level.  The sponsorship includes:

  • AFA logo on an anvil stand at each 2014 event
  • Recognition on signage at event host hotels
  • Recognition in event programs
  • A minimum of 5 PA announcements during events
  • Website link from WCB website
  • AFA logo on print matter
  • Facebook recognition

The WCB remarked that "It is going to be a very exciting year for us and we are so happy that you will be with us as we continue to grow and expose our awesome trade to many different horse owners and farriers alike."

 Professional Farrier

There are several ways to view your PF.  It will arrive in your inbox from Equine Veterinarian with links to both Magazines.  You will also find links on the AFA web site and Facebook page.  If you have been viewing the new digital PF on line and find it grainy and hard to read, just scroll over the page and click your mouse to expand and enlarge to full page view and it will be crisp and easy to read.  We get both the Professional Farrier and Equine Veterinarian.

Did you know you can advertise in the Professional Farrier e-zine and get your business seen by over 10,000 vets, farriers and horse owners?!  Contact Dick Booth at Boca Publishing today to hear the great advertising rates available!
