Food Drive
Woodside holds its annual Food Drive with Second Harvest Food Bank. Our goal is to raise at least 2500 pounds of food. There is a competition between all 4th period classes.
Alumni Basketball Game A Wildcat tradition continues on Tuesday, November 24. Girls Varsity vs Alumna play at 6pm. Boys Varsity vs Alumni at 7:30. Come enjoy the entertainment and food. Admission $5. All proceeds benefit the Woodside Basketball Program.

HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE 2015
Woodside High School's Annual Fall Harvest Faire, now called "HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE" is on Saturday, November 14th! Come and shop early for fun, creative holiday gifts and treats for yourself! This is a one day event, November 14th, held on campus from 10am - 3:00pm! All are welcome. Food and shopping. What better way to spend a Saturday.

Join Maria Furtado, Executive Director of Colleges That Change Lives, for a conversation about helping your student find the "right fit" for college.Colleges That Change Lives, Inc. (CTCL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and support of a student-centered college search process. CTCL supports the goal of each student finding a college that develops a lifelong love of learning and provides the foundation for a successful and fulfilling life beyond college.
Maria Furtado has worked in higher education for over 20 years. Maria speaks all around the country to students, parents, and counselors about college rankings and popular misperceptions about college admission, the strength and worth of a liberal arts education, and offers tips for students and parents on how to manage the college search.

DRAMA BOOSTERS
Our students are working hard with Director Barry Woodruff to maintain the high quality of productions that our Drama Department is known for. Be sure to mark your calendars for the "Evening of Theater" on Thursday, Friday, andSaturday, November 19 - 21. All shows are at 7pm. Tickets will be on sale during lunch on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, November 18 - 20. Students are just $5.00 and adults are $10.00. It is General Seating, so come early on the night you are attending to grab the best possible seats.
Looking ahead, auditions for the Spring Musical, "The Little Mermaid", will be held after school during the week of November 30 - December 4, that's the week after Thanksgiving. And, there will be a pre-audition meeting during lunch on Tuesday, November 10. Even if you're just thinking about it, come to the meeting! You'll be given valuable information about the audition process.

Support College Success for Local Low-Income Students
Volunteer Opportunity: Become a Mentor to a Talented First-Generation College Student
The Peninsula College Fund, which provides four-year college scholarships, 1-1 adult mentors, college and career success training, and summer internship support to low-income, first-generation college students, is seeking volunteers to serve as mentors to college students. Mentors offer advice, support, and role modeling to a student throughout the student's college career. This highly effective organization serves mid-peninsula high school students from Palo to Redwood City.
