Express Lanes are Now Live
The Colorado Express Lanes are currently live and tolling is now active. For quick fact sheets, toll rates and information on transponders, visit the CDOT Express Lanes Information page.

Tolling began this summer on July 22, 2015 for Phase 1 of the US 36 Express Lanes between Federal Boulevard and 88th Street. The existing HOV lanes on I-25 also switched over to the new system at this time. Phase 2 of the US 36 Express Lanes between 88th Street and Table Mesa will be completed in early 2016. Express Lanes on I-70 in the mountains will open late 2015 and new Express Lanes on I-25 from US 36 to 120th will open in early 2016. View the Express Lanes map.
The new Switchable HOV Transponder that allows HOV travelers to ride for free in the Express Lanes is available at
www.expresstoll.com. If you currently have an ExpressToll account, just edit your vehicles to request the new tag. If you are signing up for a new ExpressToll account, you can choose your transponder type while entering your vehicle information.
Express Lanes Town Hall Meetings
CDOT and the High Performance Transportation Enterprise (HPTE) are hosting telephone town hall meetings to get your feedback on proposed toll rates in two of its major corridors.

The town hall on the I-70 mountain Express Lanes proposed toll rates will be held September 21 at 7:00 p.m. The town hall on the US 36 Phase 2 proposed toll rates and special event rates will be held October 1 at 7:00 p.m. To join the meetings, please call 1-877-229-8493 and enter the pin 112034.

ROAD UPDATES
E-470 Expansion Project
E-470's 2014 full investment grade traffic and revenue study indicated there are certain areas on the road that need to be widened to continue ensuring reliable travel time. E-470 will now begin the process of adding more lanes to an 8-mile stretch of the road. North and southbound lanes from Parker Road to Quincy Avenue will expand from two lanes to three lanes. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2016.
York Street is partially closed between 156th Avenue and Highway 7 through September 2015. E-470's ramps at York Street will remain open during this time. See the map here.
