JUMP/HOOPS FOR HEART UPDATE

OLP students did a wonderful job with the American Heart Association (AHA) Jump/Hoops for Heart event that they participated in as part of their physical education class last month.

During the class students participated in basketball, jump-rope and hula hoop activities. All students received a red wristband for their participation.

Students had the chance to obtain donations for the American Heart Association. The AHA uses these donations for education and research toward fighting heart disease. The AHA gave ducks, balls, t-shirts and other thank you gifts depending on the amount of donations students collected. Those gifts are scheduled to arrive next week.

OLP students raised over $3,000 dollars for the American Heart Association. What a great accomplishment! Way to go Crusaders!
