Apply Now For Boeing Pre-Employment Training Starting July 13 and Aug. 3This accelerated job training program is offered by the Workforce Solutions Group and the Florissant Valley campus in partnership with Boeing. The ten-week, 408-hour program prepares individuals for entry-level employment as an assembly mechanic in the aerospace field. Students who successfully complete the training program will have an opportunity to interview with Boeing
No-Fee Certified Logistics Technician Program 80 hours of training over 15 days that prepares individuals for front-line material handling and distribution positions across the supply chain-factory, warehousing, distribution and transportation. Earn a nationally recognized Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) credential.
No-Fee Welding Technology Training This high-value no-fee technical training program is grant funded and offered for a limited period of time at no cost to qualified students. The four week program is delivered by the Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship, an American Welding Society (AWS) certified training site.
Precision Machining Technology Certificate Program Accelerated college credit training program over 16 weeks preparing individuals for employment in the metalworking industry as a machinist or CNC operator. Earn nationally recognized National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credentials.
Truck Driver Training Program Our professional truck driver training program is now enrolling for summer classes. The next class begins July 13, 2015.
The five-week hands-on program which combines classroom instruction, driving simulator time and hours of road driving; prepares individuals to enter the commercial driving industry as an over-the-road truck driver.
STLCC Program Recognized for High Quality The Adult Education and Literacy program, offered through the department of Continuing Education, has received the Missouri Adult Education and Literacy High Quality Award for fiscal year 2014.
Sponsored by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, the award recognizes programs that achieve outstanding student outcomes while maintaining a high degree of fiscal integrity.
STLCC's program received top scores in all areas, including student outcomes, educational progression, cost per student, and ratio of dollars spent to numbers of students served.
