Over 250 professionals devoted their last Saturday in March to attend the third annual ProductCamp St. Louis 2014, a free, user-driven, collaborative 'unconference' (no pre-determined agenda) organized by volunteers and presented in cities worldwide.
MoHealthWINs program STLCC is building a pool of program graduates in the growing healthcare occupations of Information Technology Help Desk/End User Support Specialist and Healthcare Information Technology Technician. 
Supported through the MoHealthWINs grant program, the graduates have completed 14 to 24 credit hours of training  and are ready to go to work!

graphic pertaining to Drinking Water Operator Training Drinking water operator certification establishes a professional standard, and provides the knowledge and understanding drinking water operators need to provide safe, adequate drinking water to the public.
This program, funded by an Environmental Protection Agency grant, combines classroom instruction with on-site training at water utility facilities.

Boeing Pre-Employment Programs Starts June 2 The award-winning, always in high demand Boeing Pre-Employment Training Program will start a new session on June 2 at the Center for Workforce Innovation.
The program, offered in partnership with Boeing, prepares individuals for entry level employment in the aerospace industry as an assembly mechanic.

Rod Nunn, D.M., Vice Chancellor Workforce Solutions Group Roderick Nunn, vice chancellor for economic development and workforce solutions, has been named interim president of STLCC's Forest Park campus, effective May 14.
"I've always looked forward to the opportunity to lead an academic institution, and this is a great opportunity to move in that direction. I know STLCC has a great future as one of the leading institutions of higher education in St. Louis," Nunn said. 
The staff of the Workforce Solutions Group  would like to thank Dr. Nunn for his leadership and wish him the best in his new role at Forest Park.
Melissa Hattman receives award Melissa Hattman, (center in   photo) was recognized for her six years of service to St. Louis Community College by her colleagues on the Board of Trustees. Also pictured are Craig Larson, left, board chair, and Dennis Michaelis, STLCC's interim chancellor.
"I want to thank all of you for what I've learned on this journey over the past six years," Hattman said. "Education is the answer, and STLCC offers access to education like no one else can."
