Season's greetings! The Contractor Connection E-Newsletter's General Updates edition focuses on updates to SCE's Demand Side Management (IDSM) solutions and resources to help address your customers' energy management needs. Use this E-Newsletter edition as a resource to keep up-to-date on new and expiring solutions, policy and procedural matters, and more.

This edition brings you our personal thank you, recognition campaign update, and more.

A Special Thank You...

With sincere appreciation, we thank you for helping our customers take advantage of SCE Energy Management Solutions.

This year more than any other, Customer's Authorized Agents (CAAs) have submitted a record number of Express and Customized Solutions projects that integrate controls and contain multiple technologies. Your contributions have helped us tremendously in supporting the Commission's directive to move toward integrated demand-side management (IDSM) and comprehensive energy savings.

Next year, you can expect us to continue along this path and offer new solutions, promotions, as well as CAA support services.

Thank you again, and have a safe holiday season and a prosperous New Year.

Sincerely,

The SCE Contractor Relations Team

Recognition Campaign Update

Campaign Status Update

Updated through November 30, in four key recognition categories are results for the Customer's Authorized Agent (CAA) with the:

  • Highest kWh savings - 16,598, 000 kWh
  • Highest kW savings - 4,300 kW
  • Greatest # of projects with multiple technology types - 4 projects
  • Greatest # of projects integrating controls - 235 projects
  • Most Comprehensive Project - Could be you!

It Really Could Be You!

SCE 2012 Distinguished Comprehensive Project (DCP) Award is an opportunity for CAAs with comprehensive projects, big or small, to get recognized. But the best part is that CAAs get to self-nominate themselves!

Can you think about a project you submitted this year that integrates controls? Because controls capture comprehensive energy savings, your project could receive the SCE 2012 DCP Award.

What about a project that utilizes more than one technology? Surprisingly, most projects submitted only utilize one technology (e.g., lighting or refrigeration). More technologies capture more energy savings.

You'll never know. The deadline to submit self-nomination forms is by Monday, December 31, 2012. But why wait, submit your form today!

Learn more and nominate your project by downloading a self-nomination form. Click here to download. If you have any questions on how to complete the form, email [email protected].
