On November 9, we communicated the December 31, 2012, expiration of several Express and Customized solutions. As a clarification, the Customized Solutions included in that communication are not set to expire; rather the technologies included in the expiring Express Solutions will no longer be eligible for incentive through the corresponding Customized Solution(s).
For example, Express Solution LT-84012 ("T8 reduced wattage lamp and ballast - 28 watts") is set to expire on December 31, 2012. The corresponding Customized Solution LT-51003 ("Interior linear fluorescent retrofits") will not be eligible for projects involving the retrofit of 28 watt T8 reduced wattage lamps and ballasts, but will remain eligible for other interior linear fluorescent retrofit projects that are not included under the expiring Express Solution technologies.

2010-12 Cycle-end Deadlines
The previously communicated details regarding 2010-12 cycle-end deadlines, including impact to projects for which On-Bill Financing (OBF) funding is being sought, remain unchanged.
Express Solutions
- All 2010-12 Express Installed and Express Pending project applications (including those with expiring solutions) must be installed and required documentation received (including Installation Report for Express Pending projects) by SCE's processing organization no later than 5:00 pm PST, December 31, 2012 to be eligible for 2010-12 incentives.
- SCE will continue to work diligently to review and approve all received project applications in a timely manner.
- For projects with OBF, see below.
Customized Solutions
- All existing 2010-12 Customized Solutions project applications (including those with expiring Express Solutions technologies) for which signed Customer Contract Agreements are received by SCE's processing organization no later than 5:00 pm PST, December 31, 2012 are eligible for incentives.
- Projects for which signed Customer Contract Agreements are not received by the above deadline will continue to be processed in 2013 (no need to resubmit project), subject to the 2013-14 incentive rates.
- SCE will continue to work diligently to review and approve all received project applications in a timely manner.
- For projects with OBF, see below.
Projects with an OBF Funding Application
- Project applications for which OBF has been requested are subject to the above Express and Customized Solutions deadlines.
- For OBF projects with expiring solutions, if SCE anticipates a delay between project approval and OBF loan approval, SCE will provide immediate notification of the project approval and later follow up with the reserved OBF loan amount proceeds. The follow up may occur after December 31, 2012.
- Applicants may proceed with project installation after receiving the project approval notification, while accepting the risk that final approved OBF loan proceeds may not match OBF loan proceeds applied for in the original application.
