Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I'd like to devote this edition of our E-Newsletter to stress the need for us all to Build (whatever we're Building in Life - family, marriage, business, ministry, career or anything in Life that you're doing) to Build upon a Solid & Firm Foundation! Over 103 years ago, RMS Titanic sank! The very famous ship was making its maiden voyage from Southampton, England to New York City when it sank on April 15, 1912 after it struck an iceberg on the high sea, leading to the death of 1,514 people. Titanic was the Largest ship afloat at the time of her maiden voyage with a total capacity of 3,300 (passengers & crew inclusive). The Titanic passengers' included some of the wealthiest people in the world (at that time) & was designed & built to be the last word in comfort & luxury; including advanced safety features. The builder (Harland and Wolff) was so confident in the ship's invincibility that when asked by a reporter how safe the Titanic would be; with an ironic tone stated: "Not even God can sink it". Well, God didn't have to; one of His creations - an 'iceberg' sank it!  

Which brings me to the heart of this message; I had shared in my Book: (Faulty Foundations: Discover How To Build On A Firm Foundation) the need to build our lives & everything we do on a Firm Foundation. While many spend their lives & time building upon a Faulty Foundation, among which I outlined in the book, includes the Faulty Foundations of: Idolatry, Blood Shed, Deception, Immorality & Self. The Faulty Foundation of Self led me to share other contemporary examples (starting with the example of Nebuchadnezzar) & of many people who so much depended on themselves (leaving God out of their lives), so bragged about their accomplishments in life or in their various fields; only to discover that all their faith in SELF & what they had accomplished eventually ended in Failure! 

Friends, NEVER you get to the point in your life where you think that you can MAKE IT without God; or think that you've so MADE IT in life that "Not even God can sink your ship". All you need to do is to (go to the pages of the Bible &) ask King Nebuchadnezzar who was the most powerful King of the most powerful kingdom at that time - yet God humiliated him & turned him into an animal & he lived in the forest for 7 years - all because his Pride & the Faulty Foundation of SELF that he's built his empire around gave him the false impression that he was Invincible & incapable of being overcome, defeated, conquered or destroyed! Also, Titanic comes as a reminder that Nothing in this life can claim Invincibility - except God alone! 

We need to build our Life, Family, Marriage, Business, Career, Ministry - & all we Do & Become in this life - upon a Solid & Firm Foundation that can withstand ALL the Storms of Life. And that Foundation is God Himself! That Solid & Firm Foundation is Jesus Christ! We also need to Build on the Foundation of His Word, on Faith, on Prayer, on Wisdom, on Integrity & on Love, among others. Jesus says that when you Build upon a Solid Foundation; when the storm & wind  comes & blows upon it; your building or structure will Stand; but when you build on a Faulty Foundation; it's only a matter of Time before everything comes crashing, destroyed or sinks with great tragic losses - like the Titanic! ...
