Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! In today's edition of our E-Newsletter, we shall continue from where we stopped in the last edition & we shall now discover how exactly we are to Guard our heart. There are Three Important things that I have discovered that we really Need to do to be able to Guard our hearts! They are as follows: 

*ALLOW GOD TO REGENERATE YOUR HEART: This is the foundation of it all! All that we earlier stated about the wickedness & deception of the human heart has a remedy from God - REGENERATION! No one can Regenerate his heart! But God can! However, it is still our responsibility to come to God & allow him to do it! This is the first step if we must Guard our heart. God's Answer to the sinfulness of the human heart is Regeneration, which comes to all who Repent of their sins, turn to God & place a Personal Faith in Jesus as Lord & Savior! Regeneration is the Re-Creating & Transformation of the heart by the Holy Spirit. Through this process, God gives us a new heart & a new spirit (Ezek:36:26); Eternal Life from God Himself is imparted to the Believer's heart; he or she becomes a child of God & a New Person in Christ! Through Regeneration we receive the capacity from God to Obey & please Him & to Guard our heart; an ability which we didn't have before this time. Many spiritual activities also take place in the hearts of the Regenerated believers: They Praise God; Meditate; Cry out to God; Seek God; Love God; Hide God's Word; Trust in The LORD & Sing to God in (& from) their heart!
 

*STORE GOD'S WORD THERE: "I have hidden your Word in my heart that I may not sin against you" (Psalm: 119:11). By Storing God's Word in your heart, you are producing the security that Guards the heart. Because whatever attack or thought coming in will be quickly discerned or analyzed, and if found to be against that Word, it quickly protects the hearts & keeps such attack from Penetrating. Secondly, by storing the Word of God, it is certain that you'll bring forth corresponding fruit. But if you store something else there, that's what you'll produce. Jesus said that a good man out of his good treasures brings forth good things; but the evil man out of his evil treasure brings forth evil things. So when you store God's Word in your heart, you'll no doubt bring forth good things from that treasure, both in your speech, actions & relationships. 

*WATCH OVER YOUR THOUGHT LIFE: "...We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ". (2 Cor: 10:5b). We are supposed to Watch over our thought life. This is where the Real Job lies. Being Vigilant, Diligent, Careful, with steady effort & hard work, is needed here the most. It is our Responsibility & Ours alone, to Guard or Watch over our Thought Life. Every thought at variance with the Thoughts of God, that tries to attack must be taken captive & made obedient to Christ. Don't allow any evil negative thought to settle down in your heart. There maybe thousands of evil or negative thoughts that may travel past your mind which you may not be able to stop. That happens to everyone. But you can stop it from lodging over night in your heart. There is a saying that: "You may not be able to stop a bird from flying across your head, but you can stop it from building a nest on your head." This is very true & applies to Guarding your heart. Once such negative thought is noticed, rebuke its source right away (i.e. the devil) & it will flee! Your heart is the Wellspring of your Life! Guard it with All Diligence by Allowing God to Regenerate it; Storing God's Word in it & by Watching over your Thought Life!  
 

I Prophesy over you that: You will not be enslaved to negative evil Thoughts from the enemy! Your mind & Thought life is under the Control & Influence of the Holy Spirit! You will Guard your Heart & only Godly Thoughts & Ideas are permitted to reside there! You are an Overcomer - in Jesus Name!
