Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord! I'd want to share  with you a message that I believe The Lord had laid upon my heart. You know, when we talk of some sporting activities (like wrestling, for instance) or even some careers like the Military (where I also belong in); it's great to be (or at least appear to be) a "Hard Man or Woman". By that I mean, being able to take or absolve whatever that is thrown your way, either during training, or in competitions, or so - & take it like it's nothing at all! Such 'tough' and 'macho man' outlook seem to easily earn you a lot of respect from spectators or people who see you perform or fight or do whatever it is that you do. The "macho man"  or "hard man" image can also be displayed by some kind of 'lack' of emotion, affection or feelings, no matter the circumstances. 

However & unfortunately, when some people approach God, they approach God with this "Hard man /woman," "macho man/ woman" attitude or outlook! By that I mean: Like, when the Word of The Lord comes forth, or  God tries to convict them about something; instead of being humble & admitting their sins or error before God & repenting; they'd rather have this unemotional,  unrepentant outlook & attitude - like what God is saying doesn't really 'move' them. When relating to God our Maker, that's one of the things He hates the most! It amounts to Hard-Heartedness and even Pride. And God says he hates that! On the contrary, there is a quality that God can not resist: and that is Humility & someone whose heart is Broken before God! Whenever God finds this quality in any man or woman; He is compelled to show His Mercy! So when you want to approach God, & you need to come with only One thing; then let it be Brokenness of heart! 

Brokenness is our humble response to God's conviction of our sins & will lead us to humilty & complete repentance; Brokenness is giving up your 'hard man' or 'macho man' attitude or outlook; giving up your rights and selfish interests to God; giving up every form of self defense or making excuses when God's rebuke comes; agreeing whole heartedly with God, and saying: "Yes Lord, you are right! I am wrong; I have sinned against you". The main difference between Saul & David was that when rebuked by God through His Prophets; Saul became defensive & made excuses for his actions; where as David humbled himself, made no excuses, admitted his sins &  asked for God's Mercy & Forgiveness - & he got it, despite the magnitude of his sins. God will always look favorably to us & forgive us (no matter how we've erred or sinned against him) - only if we can learn to approach Him with Brokenness of heart! 

I Prophesy over your Life from today, that: the Power of God's Word & the Power of His Holy Spirit, will melt every hard-heartedness & every stony heart that is unresponsive to the Word of The Lord & unrepentant to His rebuke! I Prophesy Brokenness of heart & spirit over you, even as you approach God your Maker - in Jesus Name!
