Beginning July 1, 2014, CMS requires submission of Health Insurance Prospective Payment System (HIPPS) codes on all claims to Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAOs) for care delivered to SNF residents and Home Health Agency patients.

 

The Hi-Tech Software Resident Accounting and integrated Clinical Records for Nursing software modules have provided this option to our clients since the inception of the MDS 3.0 in October of 2010, based on the Medicare-required PPS MDS schedule.
