See You at the Pole (SYATP) "UNITED" is TOMORROW, September 23. Before school, students world-wide will join together at their school's flagpole to pray for their friends, families, teachers, school, city, state and nation to God. This year's SYATP emphasis is "UNITED," taken from Acts 1:14 in the Bible. It encourages us to commit to global unity in Christ and prayer for this generation. With the current state of our country, we believe this year's theme is perfect. We are encouraging students, school faculty, families, businessmen and women, everyone, to unite together as a community in prayer for our nation.
We would love for you to share your SYATP experience with not only us, but all of Greater Birmingham. Please send/post the number of students who gathered around your school's flagpole, quotes from the day, testimonies, pictures and videos to the social media outlets below. The Seventh Annual Central Alabama Pastor Appreciation Breakfast held by the Scott Dawson Evangelist Association is coming up on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015. The Breakfast will be held at a new location this year: The Club, 1 Robert S Smith Dr., Birmingham, AL, 35209. The speaker will be Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin, the pastor of Potter's House in Jacksonville, Fla., and worship will be led by Michael Adler. Also, Scott Dawson will serve as emcee and will officiate over the drawing for prizes at the end of the Breakfast. CLICK HERE for more information and to register.
