Dear Friends and Supporters,

On December 6, 2012, I resigned from Africa Foundation along with Michele Gradin, Jenny Kennedy and Frances Schultz.  With 13 additional trustees, we formed a new foundation called Empowers Africa.  The other 13 Empowers Africa trustees are Donna Corbat, Aisha Craig, Zita de Zagon, Flo Fulton, Lisa Gentil, Patricia Glass, Nina Griscom, Catherine Howell, Mary Judelson, Liz Kelly, Suzanne Leydecker, Lyn Pedersen and Nicci Young Wiese.  Empowers Africa Advisory Committee members are Beth Rudin DeWoody, Gabriella Gentil and Carrie Mackin.
