Hello Girls, 
How is the 'fat melting' going? I make this juice about 3 times a week, but you can drink it everyday if you are serious about loosing a little of that stored energy (aka fat). I have come up with an incredible skin smoothie and it tastes delicious. Make it your after dinner treat or breakfast. You can't get too much of this one.
Skin Gorgeous Smoothie: 1 handful of Spinach
3/4 cup of frozen blueberries
1/2 cup of frozen raspberries
These are some powerful ingredients. Acai berries are native to Central and South America and the locals strive on this staple well past 100. Acai is known as the beauty berry because it has nutrients like anthocyanins (super anti-oxidants that target connective tissue) and Omegas like 60% Oleic Acid (an essential fatty acid needed for cellular development not made by the body). Also, it has an almost perfect amino acid profile which is necessary for collagen formation. That is the "chicken wire" in your skin that binds and supports all tissues.
Cacao beans have much higher concentrations of anti-oxidants most fruits, vegetables, tea, and wine. Anti-oxidants equals anti-aging. It helps skin because it opens blood vessels and allows blood to circulate more freely and bring much needed nutrients to the skin. Make sure it is 60% or more in concentration. I get my acai and cacao powder at Whole Foods. Raspberries and blueberries are among the top 10 anti-oxidant fruits that contain polyphenols that quench inflammation and oxidative stress.
Kale is rich in lutein and zeaxanthin. This is the new kid (anti-oxidant) on the block that you will be hearing a lot about. It is a powerful anti-oxidant that also quenches inflammation and all those fiery darts that causes us to rust away. Almond milk and yogurt are great sources of protein. Protein is necessary for proper collagen formation. As always, all these ingredients need to be organic!!!
