Series: The Right Confession - GOD WITH ME
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 ESV
Steps...leaps...skips...hops...trots of faith do not come with all the details. Whatever manner the Lord is unctioning/prodding you to take, trusting Him is paramount in survival and victory. We may not - who am I kidding - will not always know all the next steps to take...where you are going...how you will go...what you will find when you get there; HOWEVER, this one thing you do know...this one thing never changes: GOD IS WITH ME.
A Name, characteristic of Jesus is "Immanuel" - God with us. When the pain, challenge, opposition, disappointment and heaviness attempt to close in on you, shout, "Immanuel"; and remind yourself that God is with you.
Scripture:
Joshua 1:5, 9 (Amplified Bible)
5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
9 Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Whatever God's journey for me, I take courage, for He is with me - leading, guiding and protecting. No person, place or thing can overtake me. Just as the Lord was with Moses, He also is with and for me. He will not fail or forsake me. I am strong and vigorous. I will not be dismayed, because my God is with me wherever I go. This is His promise to me, and He is faithful to keep it.
Prayer:
Father God, thank You for Your faithfulness to me. Thank you for always being with me; never leaving me. I may not know all the ins and outs, how to's and what for's, but I do not fear because I KNOW You are with me. You are my God...always with me. Hallelujah! In the Name of Jesus, I pray, praise and thank You. Amen.
There many more verses assuring that God is with us.
Make time to find others and develop your own confession and prayer of His love. Now you say, "God is with me."

The following is Part 2 of a Praise Report from Jasmine Johnson, who was planning to buy a much-needed car but was stressed about how to cover various important expenses without dipping into her "car fund":
"I got the feeling that I needed to check my bank account. I shrugged the feeling off because I knew how much I had in my account. After paying tithes, bills, etc., I knew it wasn't much.
Despite that, I again felt the need to check my bank account. Now mind you, my goal was to put $3,000 as a down payment, but my boyfriend thought $2,500 would also suffice. I reluctantly decided to check my account, expecting a low amount...to my surprise, $2,740 had been deposited into my account. I logged out of my online banking and logged back in just to make sure it wasn't a glitch...it wasn't! Some unexpected money had been released from my school, crediting my account. I could only think about how God had blessed me with a significant increase.
A couple nights before during Bible study with Pastor Tedi, we discussed how tithing is as the "breaking the bread" for which Jesus blessed and gave thanks...resulting in having more than enough for everyone.
God provided me with my down payment for my desired vehicle...all I can do is thank God for His mercy, His favor and His love. Trust God and do what He requires of you...and watch how He shows up and shows out. God Bless."

Salvation or Restoration
If you would like to accept and confess Jesus Christ, making Him your personal Lord and Savior or if you have turned away from Him to go your own way and wish to return to Him, pray the following prayer aloud:
Dear Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died and rose from the dead on the third day. I believe You are alive and seated at the right hand of the Father. I believe you died for my sin; paying the debt for sin that I could not pay myself.
Please forgive me for all my sin.
Please come into my heart and my life, and be my Lord and Savior.
I am forgiven. I am now born-again. I am now a child of God.
Thank You, Lord.
In Jesus Name. Amen.
