Making confessions are spoken of quite often in the Church, among its members, and with varying levels of understanding. There is so much more to confession than admitting guilt and regret. There is the good and right confession. In regard to the things of God - how His Kingdom operates - confession activates His will and manifestation of His promises. As the verse tells us, it sets His angels in motion, who attentively obey God's Word spoken.

 

  

We can pray, sweat and cry until the cows come home; but to omit the Word of God, these are just exercises. Even to then speak anything contrary to what we are believing for, we cancel the full manifestation of God's intent - deliverance, prosperity, restoration, healing and so on.

Prayer and confession do not absolve us from putting action to our faith - "faith without works is dead" (James 2:17). However, we must first get God's heart on the matter - believe He said what He meant and meant what He said (had written). From there set our renewed belief system to make the right confession. Then go/do as He leads. This brings about change that lasts, and is not blown away by the next big idea or administration to move in. Determine today to make the right confession.
