One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.
Psalm 27:4 (Amplified Bible)
Happy Resurrection Day/Happy Easter...
The Church has become quite divided in this - some refusing to say, even stating offense when greeted with "Happy Easter." Come on Church...really?!?! I read my Bible, I saw the movie, "The Passion of the Christ"; Jesus did not go through all that for His people to get caught up in semantics, ritual, theories, philosophies, intellectualism, haughtiness, nor to be manipulated into arguments by enemy strategies.
We, believers, are well aware of His coming, dying, resurrection and ascension establishing Salvation. Thank You, Jesus! But do not stop there. Our heavenly Father continues to reveal more and more.
Salvation is more than being in right standing with God to go to heaven one day.
~ We do have victory then, but we have it today and are to enjoy
the here and now as well.
~ By Christ's sacrifice and obedience of love, we are the sons
(children) of God.
~ We are blessed, with treasure and abundance awaiting our
arrival in heaven, but we have the blessing of Abraham in this
life; and moreover are blessed to be a blessing.
~ There is the very real possibility and availability of intimate
fellowship with Him - through obedience, praise, worship and
the "be still and know that I am God."
Now I submit to you, there is also the Father's desire for us to COMMUNE with Him. This is more than prayers of petition, lists and demands; of searching for Scriptures to confess; of delving into Bibles and Bible study aids preparing for the next, sermon, lesson or assignment. The Father says,
"Commune with ME. Walk with Me. Converse with Me."
You see, Jesus defeated and overtook the devil; and restored and recovered what he stole, removed, and tricked us out of. Jesus bequeaths that victory to all who believe; redeeming us from the hand and control of satan. He did it for oneness with us. He cleared the way for us to live, walk and operate in oneness with the Lord God Almighty. This is our victory by and in Him. Thank You, Jesus!
This causes that peace that passes all understanding and that unspeakable joy to prevail in our hearts. Jesus is the door by whom we enter into the sanctuary of God's heart - His love, care and all He promised. What He endured has established and secured our access to it all...access to the I AM. Yes, this is our victory.
So celebrate the One who made all this possible and available to mankind. Celebrate the perfection of His great sacrifice of love and devotion to the Father and His desire for us to be in relationship and intimate fellowship with Him...to COMMUNE with Him. This is the reason for this season.
Jump start your prayer with:
Thank You, thank You, Jesus, for Your great sacrifice of love for me. Thank You for enduring the beating, humiliation and giving your life so I could have life with and in our Father. I praise Your holy Name- who and all You are.
Now add your heart's sentiment, finishing up with a great "Hallelujah!" and "Amen!"

Salvation or Restoration
If you would like to accept and confess Jesus Christ, making Him your personal Lord and Savior or if you have turned away from Him to go your own way and wish to return to Him, pray the following prayer aloud:
Dear Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died and rose from the dead on the third day. I believe You are alive and seated at the right hand of the Father. I believe you died for my sin; paying the debt for sin that I could not pay myself.
Please forgive me for all my sin.
Please come into my heart and my life, and be my Lord and Savior.
I am forgiven. I am now born-again. I am now a child of God.
Thank You, Lord.
