So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you. James 4:7 Amplified Bible
Oftentimes when we come through an attack or time of great opposition our perception is, "Whew, I sure took a hit from the devil on this; but God is good"; believing we are glorifying God. But are we really?
There may be a hit; but we are not to take it. Unfortunately, many of the body of Christ have resigned to thinking they have to take the devil's hits and nurse the wounds in a discombobulated state of confusion, frustration, terror and/or grief. As these may result from a hit, we are to resist their beckoning to hunker down in them.
Instead, we should take our victory in and with God:
~ Submit ourselves, along with the incident to God, allowing Him to restore and refresh us.
~ Get in the Word of God to put ourselves on His plain of perspective. (Depending on the magnitude of the attack you may have to listen to the Word** - sometimes the severity of the offense can cause challenge in focusing to read.)
~ Expect and listen for the Holy Spirit to speak (debriefing - explaining and instructing on the matter)
~ Forgive and release the offender and the offense to God - cleansing our heart for its restoration
~ Worship the Lord (even if all you can initially muster up is a "Thank You, Jesus." "Praise the Lord." or "My God is good.")
The devil has sneaked the deceitful tactic of taking his hits into the church behavior. This is to prevent us from maintaining our divine momentum against him, which increases with every victory. We are victorious in God, by Christ Jesus. The devil is a defeated foe, and we are not to take anything he sends our way. There is no lesson from him; no advancing by him; and no issuance of anything against us that we are to take.
Our victory is of God, the Most High. We praise His holy Name.
Amen

Salvation or Restoration
|
If you would like to accept and confess Jesus Christ, making Him your personal Lord and Savior or if you have turned away from Him to go your own way and wish to return to Him, pray the following prayer aloud:
Dear Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died and rose from the dead on the third day. I believe You are alive and now seated at the right hand of the Father. I believe You died for my sin; paying the debt for sin that I could not pay myself. Please forgive me for all my sin. I invite You into my heart and my life to be my Lord and Savior. I am forgiven. I am now born-again. I am now a child of God. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
If you have made Jesus the Lord of your life today, email us, so we may celebrate with all of heaven, officially welcome you to the family of God, and send some free information to you to help you get started.
Many blessings to you
