Spotlight on Henderson Brothers.

Henderson Brothers was established in 1893 to serve the insurance needs of a bustling river industry in Pittsburgh. In 120 years, they have learned a thing or two about protecting large and small businesses, employee groups and individuals. Multiple generations have turned to Henderson Brothers for expertise to shield them from risk and protect their fortunes in good times and bad. 

So how do they tell their story and market their 120 years of expertise? They partner with BD&E! Together with senior management and the Henderson Brothers' internal team, BD&E developed the company's brand essence ----  "Expect an Expert." We initially introduced this to their internal audience through an inspiring brand launch video, followed by collateral materials and promotional items to introduce the new brand positioning.

As part of a comprehensive marketing and media plan, we then developed two radio spots and a television spot. Strategically placed in sports-event programming, the spots were released into the Greater Pittsburgh marketplace this month. With a refreshed brand and boundless expertise, Henderson Brothers is ready to take on the next 120 years.

More National Advertising Awards!

BD&E has won eight awards in the 28th Annual Educational Advertising Awards competition!

 

We received gold, silver and bronze awards for a variety of marketing communications and  advertising materials created for Community College of Allegheny County; Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota; Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania; and Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia. The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, nearly 3,000 entries were received from more than one thousand colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries.
