   Happy New Year 2015

Dear Friends,

I have been quiet in this space fo a while now as I pursued other projects, but, as those of you who know me know, I have a lot to say about a lot of issues. Soon I will return to those issues, serious ones and the challenges of our times - healthcare, taxes (alternative and otherwise), lower yields and rising costs - and some whimsical observations about people, life and money. Above all, however, the core focus will ALWAYS be on how you can make Intelligent Decisions to best assure your financial security.

For right now, however, let's simply enjoy the day and turn our  thoughts to a bright and happy and healthy tomorrow.

Cheers,
Robert

my view of where we have been and where we are headed.

Future editions will address The Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT), the controversy over Fiduciary Responsibility, the challenges of current & long term healthcare and other timely topics. Further, I will always  include ideas to help you make Intelligent Decisions about your money.

I hope you are enjoying my newsletter. Please always feel free to let me know if there is any topic you would like me to address.

Remember, if it is about you and your money, never hesitate to ask. There are no limitations.

Cordially,

Robert

Welcome 2015

A few thoughts for the new year.

Tradition is good and republishing this piece has become somewhat of an annual tradition here. I hope it is a pleasant revisit for old friends and a happy welcome to new ones.

People are illogical, unreasonable and self-centered.

Love them anyway.

If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.

Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.

Succeed anyway.

The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.

Do good anyway.

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.

Be honest and frank anyway.

The biggest people with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest people with the smallest ideas.

Think big anyway.

People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.

Fight for a few underdogs anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.

Build anyway.

People really need help, but may attack you if you do help them.

Help them anyway.

Give the world the best you have and you may get kicked in the teeth.

Give the world your best anyway.

Sincere wishes for a happy and healthy year ahead.
