What can we learn from faith development in terms of our religious past? Join us as we explore these questions as liberal religious seekers. This worship service will also include a ritual about our connections, featuring the work of groups within our congregation. See more in "Connections Expo" article, below.
Re-Visioning Religious Education Workshop January 31
Soup Lunch from 12:30 to 1, Workshop from 1-2:30 pm
This workshop this Sunday in Fellowship Hall will utilize the spirit of appreciative inquiry in facilitating a conversation about your hopes and dreams for the future of religious education at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington. Click here for details.
Humanist Forum Time Change on January 31
The UU Humanist Forum will meet 3:00-4:00 p.m. in Room 208 this Sunday, to allow members to attend the ReVisioning workshop earlier that afternoon.
Celebration Ritual & Connections Expo on January 31
This Sunday we will celebrate, in worship, all of the groups that make this congregation go and carry out our vision. Select groups will also be available in Fellowship Hall after each service to let you know more about their work. Come make a connection!
 
Young Adult Lunch after 11:15 Service on January 31
New this semester:  on the last Sunday of each month, starting this Sunday, interested young adults (ages 18-35) are invited to an informal lunch gathering. Meet in the foyer after the 11:15 service -- look for someone in the hallway holding the Campus Ministry & Young Adult sign with the tulip tree leaf on it. Folks will head over together to eat at a restaurant of the group's choosing. Come build community together!
 
UU History Class on January 31 - new time/place
Did you sign up for the UU History class with Stuart Yoak this Sunday?  If so, please note the class will start at 2:30 p.m. and because of large class size, will meet in Room 210.
The Women's Alliance Meeting February 4
We will be Enjoying UU Camps, with Ann Kamman and some other UU camp participants. Hosts will be Carol Arnold and Karen Cassidy. The Women's Alliance meets the first Thursday of each month at 11:30 am in Fellowship Hall for brown bag lunch; drinks and dessert are provided. The program begins at noon, followed by the business meeting.
Caregiver Support Network Meeting February 7
The Caregiver Support Network will meet next Sunday, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in the Library, If you are you caring for an elder or person with a disability either here or from a distance, please join us. Info contact Sharon Yarber at 336-4427 or

Beyond Categorical Thinking Workshop February 14
We recently mailed everyone an invitation to the Beyond Categorical Thinking Workshop Sunday Feb 14@ 12:30-4pm See the invite at http://search.uubloomington.org/home/events  Lunch and childcare will be provided.  Lunch will be served right after 2nd service, followed by the workshop at 1:00 pm in Fellowship Hall.  Please let the office know, by February 7, [email protected] or 812-332-3695, ext. 204, if you plan to attend so we can plan enough food and child care staff.  Thank you, the Ministerial Search Committee.
