With customer focus shifting a bit to more local products, such as produce, meats, and other goods, we wanted to spotlight two of our "local" domestic species. Maple and Red Oak both grow all throughout New England and are prone to growing quite large. We have slabs in both species up to 3" thick and over 11' long. Some of our Red Oak slabs are longer than 20'! Maple and Red Oak are both durable species. Both are well suited for making furniture, cabinets, and flooring plus much more.
